Saluting the Sun
As the morning unfolded, our young trailblazers mirrored the energy of the rising sun;
stretching, reaching, and moving with purpose. Celebrating International Yoga Day, Foundation Years, Nursery, and KG students performed the Surya Namaskar with enthusiasm, mindfulness, and a wonderful sense of harmony.
It was heartwarming to witness our young learners moving through each posture with confidence and grace. Practising together created a sense of unity and joy, making the experience even more meaningful. The children paid close attention to their asanas and breathing, learning how mindful movement and controlled breath can help bring balance to both body and mind. Teachers were delighted to see the children perform so synchronously, showing not only their understanding of the sequence but also their ability to work together as a group. Their enthusiasm, concentration, and commitment made the session truly special.
Beyond the physical benefits, the yoga practice encouraged calmness, self-awareness, and relaxation. By the end of the session, the children emerged feeling refreshed, happy, and pleased with their accomplishment. The celebration was a wonderful reminder that nurturing healthy habits from an early age helps children develop strength, focus, and a positive sense of well-being.
