Aug 2026 | Workshop/ Session
As part of the AIIMS MATE Project, an engaging and interactive student workshop, “Unboxing Health and Wellness”, was conducted for Grade 7 students, helping them understand health and wellbeing as a combination of physical and emotional health. The workshop began with physical health, exploring pillars such as sleep, exercise, nutrition and hygiene, with the discussion around nutrition proving particularly meaningful as several students shared that they often came to school without breakfast. The session also introduced students to the concept of three energy zones – Red, Green and Blue – helping them recognise which zone they were in and identify simple ways to move towards calm and balance, including breathing techniques and short walks. The interactive nature of the session encouraged students to reflect on their own habits, leaving them with practical, everyday tools for caring for both their physical and emotional wellbeing.
