As part of World Environment Week celebrations, The Knowledge Habitat organised a series of activities for students across all grades to build environmental awareness, responsibility and sustainable habits. Students in Grades 6, 7, 8, 9, and 11 took part in interactive sessions facilitated by Dr Annapurna, supported by Eco Club in-charge Mr Anooj M. Vijayan and Ms Mimansa, exploring environmental consciousness, sustainable living, waste management, and civic responsibility. The discussions were lively, with students raising thoughtful questions about taxation, waste segregation and whether individual voices can bring about change. Kindergarten students took part in a Kitchen Garden activity, learning the basics of planting and caring for saplings. At the same time, classes across the school engaged in discussions, poster-making and other projects centred on conservation and sustainable living. The week gave students of all ages the chance to question, reflect and think about practical ways to reduce waste and adopt more environmentally responsible habits, with several expressing interest in joining the Eco Club.
