Growing Up Right: An Honest Conversation on Awareness, Empathy and Respect

The C-SEN Department conducted an awareness and sensitisation session for students in Grades 7 and 8, creating a safe, supportive space for meaningful conversations about growing up. 

The session covered puberty and the physical and emotional changes that come with it; the impact of foul language and the value of respectful communication; recognising and responding to bullying; and building empathy, responsibility, and mutual respect around disrespect and discipline. 

Through open, age-appropriate discussions, students were encouraged to understand themselves and each other better, make responsible choices, and contribute to a safe and respectful school environment — because growing up isn’t only about change; it’s about learning to understand, care and respect.
