“The love we plant in children for the Earth grows into a lifetime of care.”
Earth Day serves as a gentle reminder of our shared responsibility to care for and preserve the environment for future generations. At our school, we strive to nurture these values through meaningful and joyful learning experiences. Through thoughtfully designed art and craft activities, children explore big ideas like conservation and caring for the Earth in ways that are simple, engaging, and age appropriate.
To mark the occasion of Earth Day, our Kindergarten learners presented a special assembly for the junior wing. Through a lively skit and presentation, they shared important messages about conserving electricity and water, adopting eco-friendly habits like carpooling, and practising the principles of reduce, reuse, and recycle. They beautifully expressed how the Earth provides for us and why it is our responsibility to protect it. The assembly concluded with a heartwarming performance of “Earth is Our Home,” where the children sang and enacted the message with great enthusiasm.
We remain committed to promoting eco-friendly transport choices, encouraging low-waste food habits, and nurturing a strong sense of environmental responsibility in our learners. Proud to be recognised as an Indian Green Building Council Green School, we continue to take small yet meaningful steps towards a sustainable future.
