The Knowledge Habitat, Gurgaon celebrated Literary Week from 21st to 24th April 2026 to promote a love for language, literature, and creative expression across all grades. The week featured a rich blend of storytelling sessions, classroom activities, and creative engagements, making learning both enjoyable and meaningful.
The week commenced with an insightful session on Effective Communication by Mr. Alok Kumar for Grades 9–12, highlighting the role of reading, listening, and articulation. A special session for teachers by Mr. Ashok Bansal, based on his book When Life Gives You a Second Chance, offered reflections on resilience and personal growth. Students also attended engaging storytelling sessions by Ms. Shruti Khanna, while Ms. Shivani Kanojia conducted interactive workshops for middle school students, focusing on storytelling techniques and literary appreciation.
Students across grades actively participated in a variety of activities including Author’s Talks, Roll a Story, crossword-based vocabulary building, word association webs, and in-class writing tasks. Younger learners from Foundational Years to Grade 3 enjoyed expressive storytelling sessions by educators. Creative highlights included Character Parades and Dress-Up activities, along with hands-on tasks such as Detective Badge Making, Book Cover Design, Bookmark Making, and idiom-based worksheets.
Overall, Literary Week 2026 was a vibrant and enriching experience that successfully nurtured creativity, communication, and critical thinking among students while fostering a deeper connection with literature.
