May 2026 | Day to Day Activity
The school observed World Health Day on 7 April 2026 with great enthusiasm through a wide range of engaging and age-appropriate activities planned for students from the foundational years up to Grade 12. This year’s global theme, “Together for Health. Stand with Science,” emphasized the importance of scientific awareness, healthy choices, and collective responsibility towards well-being.
To mark the occasion meaningfully, each grade level participated in activities designed according to their age and understanding. Students completed interesting worksheets, took part in interactive games, health quiz and engaged in discussions that highlighted the importance of healthy habits in everyday life. Yoga sessions were also conducted, encouraging physical fitness, mindfulness, and discipline as essential parts of a healthy lifestyle.
A special highlight of the day for students of Grades VI to XII was an informative doctor’s talk conducted by Dr. Neetika Sekhon. During the session, she spoke about personal hygiene, balanced nutrition, healthy lifestyle choices, and the importance of preventive care. She also emphasized mental health as a significant aspect of overall well-being, especially for adolescents, helping students understand the need for emotional balance alongside physical health.
The session concluded with an interactive question-and-answer round, where students raised thoughtful questions, making the discussion both informative and engaging.
Overall, the celebration of World Health Day served as a valuable learning experience, reinforcing the importance of healthy living and responsible choices among students across all age groups.
